I have used as lowest ship a Manticore with T2 Cruises and AB, Sens Booster and BCU II for ratting on most 0.0 belt.. Just keep at max shooting distance and peel them off one by one.. Drakes also make fine ratting ships, lil more expensive, work...

Most vista related issues are due the fact people have hardly a clue nor taken any time too get him/her familiar with Vista.. I wont say vista is made perfectly, but M$ knowing they throw everything on different places and rework the GUI totally.....

Did you have installed DirectX after installing windows... Seems by the error, it cant load any DX9 modules.. If you do have DX9 installed, then i suggest too run DX-Diag too see if its installed correctly
